If a print arrives less than perfect, we will put it right.
Salt & Swell prints are made to order, so each one is produced specifically for you. That shapes how returns work. If your piece arrives defective or damaged, we want to fix it quickly and fairly.
Defective or damaged items
If a print reaches you with a printing fault or with damage from transit, you can report it within 30 days of delivery. Once we confirm the issue, we will arrange a replacement or a refund. You will not be left with a flawed print.
How to report an issue
Email [email protected] with your order number and a photo that clearly shows the problem. The photo helps us understand what happened, sort out a solution with our European print partner, and improve future orders. Please get in touch before disposing of the item, as we may ask for another angle or a wider shot.
Made-to-order and change of mind
Because every print is produced individually once ordered, we are generally unable to accept returns simply for a change of mind, in the same way a custom-made item cannot be resold. This does not affect your rights when an item is faulty or damaged, and it does not affect any mandatory consumer protections that apply in your country.
Refunds
Where a refund is due, it is issued to the original payment method once the issue is confirmed. Depending on your bank or card provider, it can take a few business days for the money to appear.
Wrong or missing orders
If you receive the wrong item, or part of your order is missing, let us know within the same 30-day window and we will make it right.
